Nine Fragments - String Quartet No. 4 by Sally Beamish was selected as the compulsory work for the preliminary round of the 2022 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition and was played by all entrants competing to secure a place in the semi-final. The Leonkoro Quartet were selected as the winners for the competition and for the best performance of Nine Fragments.
