The Academy of St Martin in the Fields to celebrate Sally's 70th birthday
On 11 June, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields celebrates Sally's 70th birthday of composer with a programme including the UK premiere of co-commission IZAKHI, a basset clarinet concerto with Michael Collins, and Seavaigers, a concerto for fiddle and lever harp, written for and performed by Chris Stout and Catriona McKay. Seavaigers is a collaboration between Sally and two of the foremost soloists in the Celtic tradition: Chris Stout and Catriona McKay. The score leaves

Concertante Doubles world premiere in Stockholm
On 11 & 12 February 2026, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra's Malin Broman and Rick Stotijn premiere Sally's Concertante Doubles for viola, double bass and sinfonietta together with world renowned conductor Pierre Bleuse. A Christmas Carol in Seaford and Brighton
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, with music by Sally Beamish, will be performed in Seaford on 30 November and Brighton on 5 December. Charles Dickens' well-known story will be narrated in an abridged version by Peter Thomson, with Ensemble V playing music by Beamish.
