Meditation

Meditation is a short 3-minute work for solo organ, celebrating the centenary of St Mary’s Morecambe in 1996.

For Winefride Ward, on the occasion of her 70th birthday. In memory of her husband Bernard Augustine Ward. Written in fulfilment of a promise to Barney, to celebrate the centenary of St Mary’s Morecambe. First performed by Christopher Nickol, 1998.
